Rolls-Royce introduced the third edition Corniche at the 1989 Frankfurt Motor Show with new alloy wheels, a more advanced suspension system, air bags and MK-Motronic fuel injection. Minor interior changes included a revised dashboard, centre console and seats.
This left-hand drive Convertible model was first registered in the UK in March 1994, since then it has had five owners. It was sold new by Daniel Donovan at Straight Eight (New Forest).
The overall appearance of this Rolls-Royce is stunning, with bright chrome details and colour-coded bumpers, finished in Mason’s Black which is complemented by striking fine coach lines and a lovely Black hood. The interior is luxuriously appointed with Tan hide, sumptuous carpets, lambswool over rungs and stylish wooden decor. As an extra added touch of luxury, cocktail requisites are stored within the door-card.
Our Corniche feels wonderful to drive, it’s automatic gearbox provides effortless gear changes and a huge 6.75 litre, V8 engine provides the necessary power for all occasions. It is clear that this car has been thoroughly looked after, which is evident from the numerous invoices held on file. The car was last fully serviced back in 2016 by a Rolls-Royce & Bentley specialist.
