1978 Rolls-Royce Camargue for sale in London
- Unique example
- RR Factory restored modernised features to interior, dashboard and floor change gearbox
- From a prominent collection of a titled Gentlemen
- Probably the finest Camargue available
Styled by Pininfarina of Italy and launched in 1975 to a mixture of awe and disbelief. Audaciously styled, its lines reminiscent of the Continental sports saloons of the past, and costing almost twice as much as the Silver Shadow? At the time of its launch, the Rolls-Royce Camargue was the company’s flagship vehicle and the most expensive production car in the world.
Our Rolls-Royce Camargue has come from the prominent collection of a titled Gentleman and is definitely one of the very best available and we feel it would be the envy of any collection. Returned to the factory Mulliner Park Ward coach building division for renovation and refurbishment, the interior was updated to the specification of a Bentley Continental R, including; heated seats with memory facility, centre console with armrest and floor mounted gear selector, as well as a unique, re-designed dashboard.
Impeccably presented in Paprika, the chrome details, paintwork and interior are beautiful throughout. It also benefits from the later Chrome road wheels and Avon Turbo-speed White wall tyres.
