1992 Renault 4L (LHD)
- A near-pristine example
- One of the very last cars built
- A global icon, one of the best-selling cars of all time
- Arguably one of the best you could wish to find
The Renault 4 is truly one of the most iconic production cars of all time, being produced between 1961 and 1994, in said time selling over 8 million units and being produced in 15 countries, From France to Ireland, from Yugoslavia to Argentina. Always an incredibly simple and affordable car, they were absolutely designed with the masses in mind and yet despite their utilitarian, simplistic nature, made for an incredibly fun and brilliant package. Not only easy to drive but very comfortable, spacious and endlessly dependable.
After merely 4 and a half years of production since its introduction in 1961, the Renault 4 already managed to sell an impressive 1 million units. The car was designed with the already legendary Citroen 2CV in its sights and with a lower starting price in Renault 3 form and a more modern package with its squarer styling.
Finished in Red paint over Black vinyl interior, Our Renault 4 is one of the most delightful examples of a Renault 4 you could possibly wish to find. Both the exterior paint and the interior trim are pristine and just as lovely as the day it rolled off the production line. Whilst as a 1992 car, this would be one of the very last French produced cars being as production stopped in 1992, under the bonnet, an “Assemble en Yougoslavie”, indicating that this was a former Yugoslavia, now Slovenia built-car, the last country to build Renault 4s up to 1994.
For anyone looking for a lovely Renault 4, whether just to have in your collection or to drive every day, this is absolutely the car for you.
