1969 Mercedes-Benz 280SL Pagoda (RHD)
- An incredibly rare and hugely desirable RHD 280SL
- The ultimate variation of the “Pagoda”
- Finished in an elegant Silver Grey over Navy Blue interior specification
- Such RHD cars seldom become available, not to be missed!
The 280 fuel-injected engine was the last and the top of the range of the W113 series which superseded the iconic 300SL Gullwing and Roadsters. Launched in November 1967 our stunning 280 SL example was built two years later in ’69’.
Being a RHD car, we proudly present a car that is both extremely rare and hugely desirable. The car is finished in the both elegant and timeless subtle colour combination of Silver Grey Metallic over Navy Blue leather. The car also benefits from having been regularly maintained by classic car specialists Enginuity. This Pagoda sits on a set of the iconic 14” Bundt Alloy wheels but also comes with a set of standard Pagoda steel wheels with colour coded hubcaps.
The SL Pagoda series has always been a very popular car, with its low wide handsome proportions and its elegant styling features. With the ‘Pagoda’ hardtop fitted the car looks outstanding and with its lid off, the SL is superbly proportioned. Fitted with disc brakes, power steering and fuel injection these cars are effortless to drive and have stood the test of time astonishingly well.
Beautiful examples such as this are extremely sought after and hard to find, let alone RHD examples which are very rarely seen, let alone for sale, making this a vital opportunity for anyone looking for a RHD Pagoda
