Very few cars manage to change the automobile world like the Miura, with its central V12 engine and fascination body, designed by Marcello Gandini for Bertone, the two-seater redefined the concept of a sports car. At the time of its debut the Lamborghini Miura was the fastest production car in the world.
Produced from January 1969, the Miura S featured a more-powerful (370bhp) engine, and was outwardly distinguishable from the preceding model by its lower profile tyres and chrome window surrounds. Other improvements included electric windows and better quality interior fittings and trim.
We are proud to offer for sale this all time classic 1970 Lamborghini ‘Miura S’. Sold new by Peter Mitchell, the Lamborghini Distributor in Victoria. This ‘Muira S’ was one of the last built, production #560 on the October 10th 1970. Finished in its original colour of Bianco White, the iconic Bertone coachwork looks incredible. This is complemented by fabulous Pelle Rossa interior with Nero carpets and Nero top-roll. Our Miura has electric windows, retractable headlights and is also optioned with factory Borletti Air-conditioning.
