Its well known that Enzo initially only saw car production as a way of financing the race cars, but as the success spread from the track to the road, clients were demanding more from the showrooms. Launched at the 1964 Geneva Motor Show, the 330 GT 2+2 was the Modena companys answer to the growing demand for a Grant Tourer with space for more than 2 people. Loathed to design and develop a full-blown four seater, the 2+2 was the perfect answer. With a 300 horsepower, V12 engine linked to a 5 speed gearbox, it was slowed by powerful Dunlop disc brakes all round.
