Marketed by Aston Martin as “The Ultimate DB7,” embodying all the values of a classic Grand Tourer, immense power, inspirational handling and all enveloping luxury. This new variant was launched in 2002, and named the V12 GT. It was more than just an improved version of the Vantage, since it was the very first production Aston Martin to be fitted with a V12 engine, essentially producing a whopping 420 bhp. Undoubtedly a model of significant historical importance, the DB7 GT chassis was also substantially updated from the Vantage model. Production of the GT was extremely limited with only 190 vehicles manufactured worldwide. The GT features a specific free flowing exhaust with by pass valve, providing it with a raging exhaust note similar to that of the V12 Vanquish.

With an alloy twin overhead cam 48 valve V12, the DB7 GT provides a maximum power output of 6000 rpm and maximum torque of 5000 rpm. It reaches 0-60 mph in 5.0 seconds with a maximum speed of 184 mph. Suspension is independent double-wishbone front and rear and the wheels are unique Aston Martin 5 spoke aluminium alloy. In comparison to the Vantage, the GT contains a mesh front grille, vents in the bonnet, a boot spoiler, an aluminium gear lever, optional carbon fibre trim and new wheels. It also has 14″ front and 13″ rear vented disc brakes by Brembo.

This particularly elegant DB7 GT was first registered in March of 2003, and sold by Harwoods of Sussex. With service work being carried out by Harwoods from 2003-2012 every service has been recorded and stamped in the book, including the two recent services carried out by MCGurk Performance cars. The carried out work truly reflects the excellent care the previous owners have given this DB7 GT. Smooth in its exterior finish of Charcoal Grey, this car commands a huge presence that shimmers beautifully upon closer inspection. The fit and finish remain very impressive as the seats and soft trimmed components are covered in Natural Leather Hide and Alcantra supplied by the prestigious Bridge of Weir. In typical Aston Martin fashion there is a considered balance of the very best traditional material married to the latest in-cabin technology, which absolutely holds true for this car. Carpets and mats remain in first class condition, the headlining tight, clean and free of marks. The revised quick-shift gear lever and racing twin-plate clutch allow the driver to maximise use of the increase in power offering a faster change than the standard car.
